PASTORS & ELDERS CHAIRMAN

QUALIFICATIONS
a. The State Chairman must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, dignified, hospitable, and an able teacher, not a drinker, not violent, not quarrelsome, but gentle and easy to get along with.
b. The State Chairman must be well versed in the Constitution of the Church of God in Christ, Inc., and the rules of the General Council.
c. The State Chairman shall be an ordained Elder in good standing with their local Churches in the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of their respective Jurisdictional Assemblies, and the General Assembly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Jurisdictional Chairman shall be ex-officio member of the General Council of Pastors and Elders and registered with the General Council’s Membership Services office.
Have a clear understanding of the financial report for which the Jurisdictional Chairman is responsible to the General Council of Pastors and Elders.
Work closely with the Chairman’s Club Coordinator of the General Council of Pastors and Elders to ensure that required reports and other duties as assigned by the National Chairman are met.
Develop new ideas to maintain and increase the growth of membership in their respective Jurisdiction.
